Can we automate the approval of Order Fulfilment Manager?

To start the Order Fulfilment process, I understood that the order needs to be approved by the Order Fulfilment Manager. This is a manual process. Can we bypass the step for the particular order journey? Or can we automate the process? So that after order submission, order goes for fulfilment process directly.
