So in the context of the new Now Learning roles introduced, i have a user trying to sign up for ServiceNow Fundamentals on-demand course (free). I set up the user as a 'customer user' but when he tries to enroll for the Fundamentals course it keeps taking him to the premium courses, so far he's been unable to access the free course. Has anyone else experienced this? And maybe he's just clicking through the wrong links but i sent him a URL to the on-demand fundamentals learning path and he said it still doesnt take him to the free on-demand.
lemme know if theres something here that may be hindering us. Thanks

Hi,
Only some courses within NowLearning onDemand are free.
For the ServiceNow Fundamentals course, from my understanding, that is not free. It's only free for ServiceNow Partner firms (there are random times ServiceNow does promotions where it becomes free, but by default, again from my understanding, it's not free).
Do you see it free for yourself?
Like this course is "free": https://nowlearning.service-now.com/lxp?id=learning_course_prev&course_id=b08754a91ba94cd05c28997fbd...
But then the actual full course is not:
If you're with a partner, you'd have to add them to your Partner Portal as a valid user and then when they login with your partner email to the NowLearning portal, they'll see it free (it does take 24 hours sometimes for it to take effect).

i had been into the course previously so i'm not sure if credits were utilized or if i was grandfathered in or what but i had already start the course like last year sometime and then got sidetracked before completion. I can have someone else try and see if they get the result you show which is the result that the particular user got so perhaps our expectation that the on-demand was free is just mistaken.
if thats the case are you aware of a lesser 'fundamentals' type of course the user might take which is free? or i guess i can direct him to youtube ha. 🙂 Thanks Allen
