I have recently found myself laid off after 17 years at my old company and while I had a successful career in management my technical skills went lacking over the years and have been spending a lot of time studying anything I can get my hands on. Here is a sample of that:
Completed
Agile Project Management Foundations online video course
Scrum Basics online video course
Learning ServiceNow Book by Tim Woodruff
Strategic Planning Foundations online video course
Customer Service Foundations online video course
Solving Business Problems online video course
Change Management Foundations online video course
Putting ITIL into Practice online video course
HTML, CSS course online course by Codacademy
Work in Progress
Mastering ServiceNow by Martin Wood (60% complete)
Learning SQL course online by Codacademy (50% complete)
Javascript course by Codacademy (25% complete)
Agile at work: Planning with Agile User Stories (just started)
My question is if I want to focus my career in the ServiceNow area what path should I take classes? certifications to make myself very marketable. I know I can learn very quickly but don't want to waste time in the wrong direction. I'm very confident with my management and client relations skills but I know I need more technical. Any suggestions would be very helpful! Thank you!
