Service-now.com Donates Service Desk Institute 2009 Award Winnings to Cancer Research UK

LONDON – Service‑now.com EMEA Executive Briefing and User Conference ‑ Sept. 15, 2009 ‑ Service‑now.com, the pioneer of modern SaaS for IT service automation, today announced the donation of proceeds from the Service Desk Institute 2009 IT Service & Support Technology Supplier of the Year award to Cancer Research UK, one of the United Kingdom's largest charities. The donation was in the amount of £500.

Kevin Kimber, Service‑now.com senior account executive, said, "Service‑now.com was named an SDI 2009 award winner after many Service‑now.com fans and customers nominated us for the award. In that sense, this award embodies a spirit of community. To give back, it just made sense for us to donate the SDI award winnings to support the great work done by Cancer Research UK."

The SDI Service Desk & IT Support Excellence Awards celebrate IT service excellence, professionalism and innovation in the support industry. The awards were announced in June during the SDI Annual Conference 2009 and recognize the achievements of IT service management teams across Europe.
