Broadcom Ltd. designs, develops, and supplies products based on semiconductor technologies. They needed a service management tool that could quickly and effectively support a number of acquisitions. Broadcom’s existing customized, cloud‑based IT service management tool was unable to scale for a multi‑billion dollar acquisition and integration program. The business applied a rigorous vendor selection program and selected ServiceNow for IT service management with a vision for use across the business. Deploying ServiceNow enabled Broadcom to achieve high‑level metrics around ‘doing more with less’ and played a key role in helping the business target a USD$100 million plus saving across its technology environment. ServiceNow is now also operating across functions such as human resources and facilities management.
