The Healthcare case \[sn_hcls_case\] table is an abstract table and is extendable that stores healthcare-related cases.{#hcls-case-table__healthcare-case-table-sd}

## Key features {#hcls-case-table__section_iz3_qgz_4pb}

* Extends the Case \[sn_customerservice_case\] table to store all healthcare cases associated with a patient. For more information, see, [Tables installed with Customer
  Service Management](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=r_TIWCustomerService&version=australia&pubname=australia-customer-service-management&ft:locale=en-US).
* Includes the Patient field as an optional field and a reference to the Patient \[sn_hcls_patient\] table. For more information, see [Patient table](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/rXaVvql22HUaQ7hSTrXl5g "The Patient [sn_hcls_patient] table stores the details of a patient in your healthcare organization.").
* Enables healthcare case types including drug program enrollment, clinical trial enrollment, billing inquiry, and patient appointment request.
