ServiceNow® Edge Encryption ™ encrypts sensitive data on your company premises before sending it over the Internet to your ServiceNow instance (encrypted in flight), where it remains encrypted at rest.{#edge-encryption__edge-description}
Important:  
Edge Encryption was placed into end-of-sales status as of November 2024, and is in the end-of-renewal phase as of the Yokohama release.
