# Complete AI asset lifecycle

# Complete AI asset lifecycle {#ariaid-title1}

Complete the AI asset lifecycle process starting from assessment through deployment.

## Before you begin

Role required: AI steward \[sn_ai_governance.ai_steward\] or Asset owner \[sn_ai_asset_mgtm.ai_asset_ownerAI\]

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesAI Control Tower.
2. From the AI Control Tower, open the AI assets view.
3. From the AI assets view, locate and open an asset which has its Lifecycle status as steward review.
4. In the asset record view, initiate the lifecycle process by selecting Start review.
5. On the Lifecycle tab, select Assess to create tasks.  
   Note:  
   The AI steward can manually create tasks under Lifecycle\>Assess and assign them to an asset owner. The asset owner or the AI steward can mark this task as complete and move on to the next stage.
6. Select Build and test and create tasks under the Development plan and Pre-deployment assessments phases.  
   Note:  
   An AI steward can create tasks in the Development plan and Pre-deployment assessments phases, marking the tasks as complete in both the phases using the Complete button.
7. To create tasks and complete the AI asset Lifecycle, select Deploy.  
   The asset owner can mark the task as complete.

## Result

The lifecycle status of an AI asset is deployed and completed.
