The Knowledge Center (KC) Article Editor delivers an intuitive experience for creating and managing content. Featuring blocks, responsive previews, and AI-powered assistance, it simplifies article design while
verifying accessibility and search engine optimization compliance. Backward compatibility with existing templates guarantees a smooth transition for authors and administrators.

## About this task

Generate and edit knowledge articles in the Knowledge Center from a task using AI-powered editing blocks and formatting tools. The article editor supports all existing article templates, including custom templates, with no migration needed. You can
create an article or edit an existing one.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllKnowledgeKnowledge CenterLists.
2. Select the type of article from the List menu (Unpublished, Published, Retired, and so on).
3. Select New to create an article.
4. Select the knowledge base and the article template in the Create new article window.
5. Preview the article template and select Next.
6. Start by entering the Knowledge base, Short description (title), and other details in the metadata pane of the article form.  
7. As you create the article in the main article editor space, drag Components, such as columns and text section, into the article area from the Blocks pane.
8. You can also add tables to the article from the components.  
   Note:  
   Collapse and expand the article area using the arrows for better visibility.
9. Use the block-level controls in the toolbar to preview articles for aspect ratios, toggle component outlines, delete, redo, or undo blocks.
10. Edit blocks using the block Settings to fine-tune margins and alignment.
11. Select and format inline text such as headings, lists, fonts, and hyperlinks, with the floating formatting toolbar.  
12. Upload images and re-size, rotate, or flip using the image-editing tools.
13. Use the Now Assist article assistant to modify content with open prompt commands for summarizing, expanding and, formatting paragraphs.
14. Select Save to save the draft of the article.
