Edit a planned monetary benefit plan to revise the benefits, dates, and offset to keep financial records current.

## Before you begin

A monetary benefit plan exists. For more information, see [Create a monetary benefit plan for a demand](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/IyJh4XoH~NLK3vOZ4XdLgw "Create and manage monetary benefit plans to track potential monetary benefits during demand execution.").

Role required: it_demand_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to WorkspacesPortfolio Planning Workspace.
2. Select the Demands icon ![]().
3. Open a demand from the List page.
4. Edit a monetary benefit plan using one of the following options.

   | Option | Procedure |
   | Using the Monetary Benefit Plans tab | 1. Select Details from the navigation menu. 2. Select the Monetary Benefit Plans tab. Note: If the Monetary Benefit Plans tab isn't visible, select MoreMonetary Benefit Plans. 3. Select the name of a required benefit plan. 4.    | Using the Financials page | 1. Select Financials from the navigation menu. 2. Select the name of a required benefit plan. 3. In the Edit monetary benefit plan side-panel, edit the required fields and select Update. {#enable-lean-budgeting-for-demands-ppw__ol_jgx_jmf_khc} |
