Activate the portal plugins to use the Consumer and Customer Service
Portals.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to the [ServiceNow store application](https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/home) or AllSystem DefinitionsPlugins in the CSM application.
2. Install any one of the following plugins.

   | Plugin name | Plugin. |
   | Customer Service Portal | com.snc.customer_service_portal |
   | Consumer Service Portal | com.snc.consumer_service_portal |

3. Select Activate.
