# View a Visual Task Board in a list

You can view a Visual Task Board in the list view using the board information option.

## Before you begin

Role required: none

## Procedure

1. Open a task board.
2. From the task board tools, click the board information icon (![Board information icon]()).
3. Click View List at the bottom of the information panel.  
   The cards from the board open in the list view.  
   Note:  
   The freeform board list view only shows cards made by the board and no other tasks that might be added manually.
