If you have an on-premise (self-hosted) instance, you can procure apps from the ServiceNow Store. Download encrypted apps and products to install on your instance, or connect your instance to the ServiceNow Store to sync purchases with your instance directly.

## Overview of using the ServiceNow Store for on-premise instances {#getting-apps-on-prem__cf-using-parent-workflow}

If you have an on-premise instance, there are two ways that you can procure apps and products from the ServiceNow Store.

* Use a computer with network access to download encrypted application files, and then transfer those files to your on-premise instance.
* Connect your on-premise instance to the ServiceNow Store to sync purchases with your instance and make them available for installation. Contact [Customer Service and Support](https://support.servicenow.com/now) to connect your instance to the ServiceNow Store.
