Bookmark apps and app files in ServiceNow Studio

    • Bookmark apps and app files in ServiceNow Studio so you can access them quickly from the Bookmarks tab in the Navigator panel.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin or delegated_developer

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
    2. Select the Add to bookmarks icon from one of the following locations in ServiceNow Studio.

      Home page
      1. Under Recently opened files or Recently opened apps, locate the app or file you want to bookmark.
      2. Select the Add to bookmarks icon on the app or file card.

      Navigator panel
      1. Select the Apps icon to display all apps, or select the File Categories icon to display all files.
      2. Hover over the app or file you want to bookmark.
      3. Select the Add to bookmarks icon .

      Open tab
      1. Open an app in the canvas.
        Note:
        If the app you want to bookmark is open in a separate tab, select the tab to bring it into focus in the canvas.
      2. Select the Add to bookmarks icon next to the application name.

      App details page
      1. Open the App details page for your application.
      2. Select the Add to bookmarks icon on the right side of the file you want to bookmark.

    3. Optional: To view your bookmarked apps and files, select the Bookmarks icon in the Navigator panel.
      Your bookmarked apps and files appear in the Bookmarks tab, organized by file type.
