Find an app or app file using the Navigator panel
Use the Navigator panel in ServiceNow Studio to browse apps and app files by metadata type and open them directly.

About this task
The Navigator panel organizes apps and app files alphabetically by metadata type. For example, to find an audio app file, navigate to File Categories > Content > Audio.

Procedure
- Navigate to All > App Engine > ServiceNow Studio.
- Verify that the Navigator panel is open on the left side of ServiceNow Studio.

Select the icon that corresponds to the type of file you want to find.
- To find an app, select the Apps icon

- To find an app file, select the File Categories icon

- To find an app, select the Apps icon

Refine the list of apps or app files using the following options.
Choice Description Filter icon Note:Select a filter to display applications within a specific scope.Only used when finding apps.Available filters: All, Custom, Store, Creator Studio, and Fluent. The default filter is Custom.
Sort icon Sort the list of apps or app files in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order. Filter list box Enter an app or app file name in the Filter list box to display only matching results. Expand the metadata section Note:Expand the metadata section that contains the app file you want. For example, to find a flow file, expand Automation and select Flow.Only used when finding app files. For more information, see Metadata app file categories in the ServiceNow Studio Navigator. - Optional:
Select Open list to view a complete list of apps or app files in a new tab.
ServiceNow Studio opens a new tab with the complete list of apps or app files.
- Optional:
To view all files of a single metadata type, hover over a file type and select Show all Files.
- Select the app or file to open it in a new integrated tab.
