Add a business capability to a goal

    • Add existing business capabilities to goals, or create business capabilities directly from goal records.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
    3. Next to Business Architecture, select the expand row icon ().
    4. Select Goals.
    5. Select the goal that you want to add a business capability to.
    6. Select the Business capabilities tab.
      Note:
      If you don't see the Business capabilities tab, select More.
    7. Add a business capability using one of the following methods.
      • To add an existing business capability:
        1. Select Add.
        2. In the Add business capability window, select the business capability and the relationship type between the business capability and the goal.
        3. Select Add.
      • To create a business capability, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create business capability form.

    Result

    The business capability appears in the Business capabilities related list for the goal.
