Add a business process activity to a business actor

    About this task

    Associating business process activities with business actors documents which roles, departments, or individuals are responsible for specific processes in your enterprise architecture.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
    3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
    4. Select Business Actors.
    5. Select the business actor that you want to add a business process activity to.
    6. Select the Business process activities tab.
    7. Add a business process activity using one of the following methods.
      • To add an existing business process activity:
        1. Select Add.
        2. In the Add business process activity window, select the business process activity and the relationship type between the business actor and the business process activity.
        3. Select Add.
      • To create a business process activity, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create a business process activity form.

    Result

    The business process activity appears in the Business process activities related list for the business actor.
