Add goal to driver

    • Add existing goals to drivers or create goals directly from driver records to identify which goals each driver influences.

    About this task

    Link goals to drivers to establish relationships between strategic objectives and the factors that influence them. You can add existing goals or create new goals directly from the driver record.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Portfolio List view by selecting the Portfolio icon ().
    3. Select the expand row icon () next to Business Architecture.
    4. Select Drivers.
    5. Select the driver to which you want to add a goal.
    6. Select the Goals tab.
    7. Add a goal using one of the following methods.
      • To add an existing goal:
        1. Select Add.
        2. In the Add goal window, select the goal and the relationship type between the goal and the driver.
        3. Select Add.
      • To create a goal, select New and complete the fields on the form. For field descriptions, see Create goal form.

    Result

    The goal appears in the Goals related list.
