Track and manage the updated content in categories for better visibility, content
maintenance, and performance.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: knowledge_admin, taxonomy_admin

User criteria required: Taxonomy Manager.

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

The related list Check for updated content in categories is available only when you do not [Enable connected content autosync system property](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/J5NLI0q38tCGN37n9qoEww "Content updates are automatically synced when you enable the autosync system property."). As the system property automatically adds or removes the content updates, you can't check for individual updates manually.

For manual checking of updates, follow these
steps.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllContent TaxonomyTopics.
2. Select the topic where you want to associate a content category.
3. Select the Check for updated content in categories related link to see the content that's added or removed.
Figura 1. Content additions and Removals
4. Add or dismiss content, as required, with Update topic with content or Dismiss content respectively.
5. Click OK.
