Set assignment rules in CBS

  • Configure assignment rules for each business unit in Core Business Suite to control how tasks are automatically assigned to groups or users based on defined conditions.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_cbs.admin

    About this task

    Assignment rules are available by default for all business units. The default setting is inactive. Mark the default configuration as Active for the business units you require.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Admin Home > Core Business Suite and select Configure on the Product Hub page.
    2. In the Configuration Summary section, go to the Assignment Rules section of the business unit you want to configure, such as Human Resources.
    3. Optional: In the Active list, set the default assignment rules you plan to use for that business unit to true.
    4. Optional: Select a default assignment rule to open and edit it.
    5. Optional: On the Edit assignment rule form, fill in the fields and select Save.

    6. Optional: On the Assignment Rules page, select Add New to create a custom rule.

    Result

    Assignment rules are configured for the required business units in CBS.
