Activate the quick action for Zoom meetings

    • Activate the Zoom quick action to initiate Zoom meetings using the quick action from a chat.

    Before you begin

    Install the Chat Zoom Connector application. For more information, see Install a ServiceNow Store application.

    Role required: admin

    About this task

    By default, the Zoom quick action is inactive. Activate this quick action to enable agents to initiate Zoom meetings from a chat.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Quick Actions > Actions.
    2. In the Name column, search for and select Zoom.
    3. On the Quick Action form, select the Active check box.
    4. Click Update.

    Result

    By default, the Zoom quick action is associated with chats when the Chat Zoom Connector application is installed. In addition, if the Conversational SMS service channel application is installed, the quick action is also associated with SMS conversations.
