Assign the consumer role to a contact

  • Assign the Consumer (sn_customerservice.consumer) role to the customer_contact to designate them as a consumer in the Customer Service Management (CSM) application.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Customer Service > Customer > Contacts.
    2. Select a contact from the contact records.
    3. In the Roles related list, select Edit.
    4. In the Collection list, select the Consumer (sn_customerservice.consumer) role and move it to the Roles list.
    5. Select Save.

    Result

    Selected contact is now both a consumer and a contact.
