Associate an existing contact user with a consumer record

  • Associate a contact with a consumer record in the Customer Service Management (CSM) application. After the association is done, you can access the Consumer Service Portal (CSP) as a consumer to search for information, create cases, and more.

    Before you begin

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Customer Service > Customer > Contacts.
    2. Select the contact from the contact record.
    3. In the login details related list, select the User lookup icon Lookup icon. to open the list of consumer_contact.
    4. On the contacts form, select the user to associate with the consumer record.
      Note:
      If the unified consumer is activated, you can select the user type from the interceptor form.
    5. Select Save.
