Approve forum memberships

  • Manage forum membership approvals when registered community users request membership to a forum.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_communities.admin or sn_communities.forum_admin

    About this task

    There are two ways of approving forum memberships.

    Procedure

    1. Perform one of the following actions.
      • Navigate to Community > Forums.
        1. Choose a forum from the list that has been configured for membership.
        2. Click the Membership Approvals related list.
      • Navigate to Self-Service > My Approvals.
    2. Accept or reject the membership requests.
      Only one approval is required for each task.
      Once the task has been approved or rejected, an email notification is sent to the user.
