Create a record in CSM Configurable Workspace

    About this task

    You can create records from the Add tab in CSM Configurable workspace. Select the plus sign (+) icon on the Add tab to see the list of records that can be created.

    Select the plus sign on the Add tab in the session tabs to see the records that can be created.

    Users with the system administrator role can configure the types of records that appear in this list. The default is an interaction record. For more information about configuring the records that can be created from the Add tab, see Configure record creation from the new tab menu in Service Operations Workspace.

    Procedure

    1. In CSM Configurable Workspace, select the plus sign icon (+) icon on the Add tab.
      If you can create more than one type of record, the system displays a list of the available record types. For example, New Interaction or New Incident.
      Note:
      If you can only create one type of record, the system displays a blank form of that record type.
    2. Select the type of record to create.
      The system displays a blank form of that record type in the tab.
    3. Fill in the fields on the record form.
    4. Select Save.
