Open new cases in the same tab with ServiceNow Link Manager for Google Chrome
Follow the steps below to install, activate, and use ServiceNow Link Manager in Google Chrome.

Installing ServiceNow Link Manager
Procedure
- Select the Extensions icon in Chrome browser and select Manage Extensions.
- In the left panel, select Chrome Web Store to open it in a new tab.
- In the search bar, type ServiceNow Link Manager.
- Select the extension in the results and select Add to Chrome.
- Once installed, the extension appears in your extensions list. It is enabled by default. You can toggle it to on or off as needed.
Activating ServiceNow Link Manager
Procedure
- Select the ServiceNow Settings icon in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
- From the drop down menu, locate the ServiceNow Link Manager toggle switch and turn it on.
Note:
The ServiceNow Link Manager extension turns on automatically in CSM and ITSM Workspace. It doesn't run in other ServiceNow workspaces.
Using ServiceNow Link Manager
Links typically open in a new browser tab. When ServiceNow Link Manager is activated, links consolidate into an already open ServiceNow workspace tab. This consolidation applies whether the link is clicked within ServiceNow itself or from an external site such as Gmail, Microsoft Teams, or Microsoft Outlook.
