Manage customer registration requests from Business Portal

  • Users with the customer administrator role can approve or reject registration requests that customers submit from the business portal.

    Approve a registration request with a valid registration code on Business Portal

    Approve a registration request from a user that was submitted from the business portal with a valid registration code.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_customerservice.customer_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to the business portal.
    2. Select Notifications > View all notifications.
      The Approvals card displays registration requests.
    3. Select the desired request from the Approvals card.
    4. Select Approve.
      A user account is created and an email is sent to the contact’s email address with a user ID and temporary password. The user is also assigned these roles: sn_esm_user and snc_external.

    Reject a registration request

    Reject a registration request from a user that was submitted from Business Portal.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_customerservice.customer_admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to the business portal.
    2. Select Notifications > View all notifications.
      The Approvals card displays registration requests.
    3. Select the desired request from the Approvals card.
    4. Select Reject.
      A rejection email is sent to the requester’s email address.
