Instance options enable you to configure the Portal Taxonomy Topic widget on a portal page.

| Instance option | Description |
|-|-|
| Title | Required title of a Portal Taxonomy Topic widget. The default text is Browse topics. |
| Description | Required subtitle that appears after the title. The default text is Navigate through topics to explore our services and resources. |

| Instance option | Description |
|-|-|
| Max topic cards to display | Number of topic cards to appear by default on the widget. The default value is 8. |
| Display icon for topics | Option to display an icon for the taxonomy topics. By default, the card displays an icon for topic cards. |
| Display topic description | Option to display the description for the topic. |
| Button label | Name for the View all button. The default text is View all. |
| Browse taxonomy page | The page ID of a portal page that opens when a topic card is accessed in the Portal Browse Taxonomy widget. |
