Use company events to configure a live-streamed event.

## Vorbereitungen

* Role required: sn_cd.content_manager
* To create and publish company events with greater efficiency, use a content template. For more information, see [Create a Content template](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/_O8yuCBGtTEs059POxEobg "A content template is pre-defined publishing plan for news articles. Create a content template to enable content authors to create and publish higher volumes of news article content.").
* You can assign one or more content categories to the company event so employees can filter by category. See [Create a content category](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/MO5D8dN6kSLhbLUGPahznw "Create a content category to tag news articles.").
* Social engagement settings enable employees to view page count, select a reaction icon, or leave a comment. See [Content engagement](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/8LcdX4zLKyCla13_bVQuUw "Content engagement enhances news articles by providing users with a way to comment and react to articles and for managers to measure the effectiveness of their content using engagement metrics.").

## Warum und wann dieser Vorgang ausgeführt wird

The company event content type is built using the Rich Content Editor and published to the employee portal via widgets. For an overview, see [Company events](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/0fqd3MUhPCu1yr2tSqgfjg "Host live company events directly in the employee portal, with prebuilt configurations to streamline the pre-event communications and handle traffic surges. Content authors can easily create and share event content using the drag-and-drop Rich Content Editor and mass-publishing capabilities.").

## Prozedur

2. Select New.
3. Select Company event under the Choose a content format section.
