A budget target is an estimated amount of money for a specific fiscal period and
budget key combination for operating and capital expenses. Use budget targets to set up a
financial goal for a budget plan.

## Vorbereitungen

Role required: itfm_plan_analyst, admin

## Prozedur

1. Navigate to AllFinancial PlanningFinancial PlanningBudget Targets.
2. Fill in the form fields (see table).
3. Click Submit.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Budget Key | The budget key to which this target applies. Select a key. |
   | Fiscal period | The fiscal period year to which this target applies. Select a fiscal period. |
   | Target Currency | The currency in use. |
   | Capital Target | The amount of the target in the currency being used. |
   | Operating Target | The target amount for operating expenses. |
