Employee Profile provides integration with Microsoft Teams that show the
current statuses of employees on their respective Employee Profile pages itself.

The Microsoft Teams integration with the Employee Profile lets users quickly
gauge the availability of their peers during work hours and beyond on their Employee Profile
pages itself.

When you navigate to another user's profile, the Microsoft Teams status view
shows a Connect option that leads to a chat window in Microsoft Teams where you can start a conversation. You can also view the Teams
status for that particular user on their Employee Profile page.

The statuses available for display are Available,
Away, Busy, and
Offline.

If you are not already logged in to Microsoft Teams from your profile page,
the screen shows a prompt Login to Microsoft Teams to view status to
connect with your Microsoft Teams account using a login form.

You can [disable the status
view](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bHrAMFIhAcNbsVT63P~E6Q "You can disable the status view of Microsoft Teams on your Employee Profile page.") if you do not wish to see it on your profile page.
Note:
To use this integrated feature, the user must install either the HR Service Delivery
integration with Microsoft Teams version 3.1.0 app or the IT Service
Management integration with Microsoft Teams version 2.4.0 app.
