# Workplace location data

In the Workplace Core application, set up data related to your workplace locations so you can select a location in your safety records, for example, your safety incidents and observations.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin

## Procedure

Configure the workplace locations.  
For more information on what you can configure, see [Providing your workplace
data](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/JhfE2rnZeo4hFaKR9DJ~zw "In the Workplace Core application, provide data related to your workplace locations and designate workspaces.").

## Result

The Location field on safety forms, for example, incidents and observations, shows the configured workplace locations.
