Manage the list of establishments

  • Manage the establishment list for your organization​. The recordable injury and illness records are grouped using this establishment information for auto-filing and exporting the reports such as OSHA 300 and 300A forms.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_ohs_im.compliance_manager

    About this task

    You can view the exported reports, such as OSHA 300 and 300A forms, for an establishment by navigating to the establishment record in the list. For more information, see View a saved OSHA 300 and 300A form.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Health and Safety > Health and Safety Workspace.
    2. Select the incident management icon (Incident Management icon.).
    3. In the Lists tab, under the Establishments list, select All.
      • To add an establishment record, select New.
      • To edit an existing establishment record, select the establishment and select Edit.
    4. On the form in Details tab, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Industry code Code indicating the industry that an establishment belongs to based on its business activities.
      For example,
      • Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes assigned by the United States government to establishments
      • North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for establishments in Canada, the United States, and Mexico
      Industry description Brief description about the primary business and business activities of an establishment.
    5. Select Save.
      The Annual information tab appears for the establishment.

    Result

    This establishment is available in the Establishment field's list on an injury and illness report.

    What to do next

    In the Annual information tab, add the annual total hours worked for this establishment. For more information, see Add total hours worked for an establishment.
