# Request personal information report

# Request personal information report {#ariaid-title1}

As an employee or alumni, request your personal information report so that you can review it or be aware of your personal data held by your organization.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_hr_core.hrsm_employee, sn_asc.alumni, sn_external, snc_internal, sn_hr_core.hrsm_alumni  
Note:  
To use snc_internal and snc_external roles, you must install the explicit_roles plugin.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllEmployee Service Center.
2. From the Human resources tab, select HR systems.
3. Select Personal information report.
4. On the Personal information report form, fill in the fields.

   | Fields | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Email | The email address of the employee requesting the report. |
   | Reason for request | A valid justification for requesting the report. |
   | Add attachments | Option to attach any related files. |

5. Select Submit.

## Result

An HR case is created and assigned to an agent belonging to the HR Data Privacy user group. Alumni can log in to the Alumni Center, go to HR systems and request for the report. For more information, see [Using your Alumni Center](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/BBZ_kkImlRX5bdads685sQ "Company alumni or former employees use the Alumni Center to obtain information or maintain communication with your former company."). In case customers don't have Alumni Center, the agent can create a request on behalf of the alumni.
