# Update users' permissions for journeys

# Update users' permissions for journeys {#ariaid-title1}

Users in a journey have permissions that enable different levels of access to a
journey. Administrators modify user permissions for different types of journeys.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_jny.admin or admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllJourney designerMange Journey Configurations.
2. Select the configuration to modify.
3. Select the tab for the user permissions to modify.  
   * Journey owner permissions
   * Mentor permissions

4. Select a check box to enable the permission, or clear a check box to disable the permission.
5. Select Update to save your changes.
