Enable the offboarding knowledge transfer trigger to ensure that the workflow runs at the right time during the employee offboarding process. This trigger automates knowledge discovery and categorization, reduces manual
effort for managers, and improves consistency in knowledge transfer processes.
Before you begin

Procedure

Navigate to .
A list of agentic workflows appear.

Locate the Generate offboarding knowledge transfer agentic workflow and select the corresponding Duplicate icon.
The You are duplicating an agentic workflow dialog box appears.

Select Duplicate.
The duplicated agentic workflow appears with "(Copy)" appended to the original name.
- Optional:
In the Workflow Name field, revise the default workflow name to reflect your organization's naming conventions.

In the Define key requirements section, select Save and continue to accept the default values.

In the Define user access section, select Save and continue to accept the default values.

In the Define data access section, select Save and continue to accept the default values.

In the Add triggers section, select the trigger name that appears in the Triggers widget.
The Edit a trigger form appears.
- Optional:
In the Name field, revise the default trigger name to reflect your organization's naming conventions.

Select the Trigger is OFF toggle to activate the trigger.
The toggle changes to Trigger is ON.

Set the Portal field to Employee Center.

Select Save.

Select Save and continue.

In the Select channels and status section, select the Display toggle in the Virtual Agent widget.

Set the Assistants where AI agents are discoverable field to Now Assist in Virtual Agent (default).

Select Save and test.
Result
The offboarding knowledge transfer trigger is now active. When an employee's offboarding journey begins, the system automatically initiates the knowledge transfer process with the manager through Now Assist in Virtual Agent.
