Configure mappings

Configure the target table and field mappings to create a department level ticket and to set the fields according to the field mappings.

Before you begin

Role required: ur_admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Universal Request > Administration > Mapping Configuration.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.
   For more information, see Mapping configuration form.
4. Click Submit.

What to do next

Post this configuration, map the service fields with that of the UR fields to enable a seamless transfer of tickets. For more information, see Map UR fields with target table fields.

• Map UR fields with target table fields
  Define the fields that you want to map between the universal request and the target table fields that you already configured. This configuration enables you to copy the values of mapped fields from the universal request to the new ticket, and vice versa.
