Add a workplace approval configuration

  • Add approvers to an approval definition. The assigned approvers receive the approval requests of those reservations that match the conditions defined in the approval definition.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workplace Core > Administration > Approval Definitions.
    2. Select the approval definition to which you want to add a workplace approval configuration.
    3. On the form, scroll down to the Workplace Approval Configurations related list.
    4. Click New.
    5. On the form, fill in the field.

      Field Description
      Name Name of the workplace approval configuration.
      Approval definition Definition of the approval. The field is automatically set.
      Approvers Approvers for the approval definition. Select one or more approvers to approve the reservations that match the approval definition. To add approvers, refer to Create a workplace performer criteria.
      Application Application for which you are creating the approval definition.
      Wait for Type of approval required to approve the reservation. Options are as follows:
      • Any approver can approve.
      • All approvers must approve.
      • The first response from any approver is an approval.
      Missing all approvers What action to take if all the approvers are missing.
      Level Importance level of the approval. The approval with the lowest level is implemented first.
    6. Click Submit.

    Result

    The workplace approval configuration is added.
