To configure a space type, refer to [Add a space type configuration](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/YPL9z5fb9PEHnbQoZ_1H0w "Configure the different types of workspaces available in a workplace. You can add spaces based on different space types (Workspace/Desk). Space type enables employee to identify the different types of workspace available on a floor"). * BOMA type is configured. To configure a BOMA type, refer to [Configure a BOMA type](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/9Kuzno~R8o1t4B10~QlzbQ "Define a BOMA type using which you can classify a space based on its BOMA standard."). {#map-a-space-type-with-boma-type__ul_lm1_s3k_jvb} Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin and sn_wsd_spcmgmt.manager ## Procedure 1. Navigate to AllWorkplace CoreAdministrationSpace type configuration. 2. Select the space type that you map with BOMA type. 3. Open the form in the Space Management view. 1. Right-click the form header. 2. Select ViewSpace Management. The form view changes. {#map-a-space-type-with-boma-type__substeps_t3z_bpx_qpb} 4. In the BOMA type field, select the BOMA type with which you want to map the space type. 5. Click Update. ## Result The space type is mapped with a BOMA type.
