Complete a questionnaire for a work order task

  • Complete the answers to questions associated with a work order task and store the responses for future reference.

    About this task

    • You can view, answer, and submit questionnaires even while offline. For more information on enabling the offline mode, see Run ServiceNow Agent in offline mode. Saving the questionnaire responses in the offline mode stores them in your device's local cache. Once the responses are submitted in the offline mode, tap Sync All to update them in the related work order task.
    • You can edit responses submitted in a questionnaire even after it is submitted. However, this functionality is limited to questionnaires associated with work order tasks moved under Needs Information and will also work in the offline mode.
    • Agents can’t view each others completed questionnaire even if the agent impersonates the other agent’s profile.

    Before you begin

    A questionnaire must be connected to the work order task. For more information on creating questionnaires and associating them with work order tasks, see Work order questionnaires.

    Role required: wm_agent or wm_dispatcher

    Procedure

    1. Open the ServiceNow Agent application.
    2. Tap My Work.
    3. In the My Tasks section, tap See All.
    4. Select the work order task for which you want to fill out the questionnaire.
    5. Tap the Take questionnaire button at the bottom of the screen.
    6. On the Pending tab, tap the questionnaire that you’re ready to take.
    7. Optional: Save the responses in the questionnaire before completing it by tapping the icon and selecting the Save option.
      You can reopen and view the responses before submitting the entire questionnaire.
    8. Tap Submit.

    Result

    The submitted questionnaire appears in the Completed tab.
