Show that an agent is busy with a non-work order event on Field Service Manager Mobile

  • Managers can show that agents are busy with personal events like a meeting, training or time off from the Field Service Manager Mobile.

    Before you begin

    Role required: wm_manager, sn_fsm_tp.fsm_territory_resource_manager

    Procedure

    1. From the Home tab, tap Teams.
    2. Tap the territory or assignment group that the agent you want to create a personal event for is a member of.
    3. Tap the more actions icon (more actions) next to the agent that you want to create an event for.
    4. Tap View schedule.
    5. Tap the plus sign (plus sign).
    6. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      User The user that the event applies to.
      Name The title of the event shown on the calendar.
      Description A description of the event.

      Description is only available if you have Workforce Optimization configured.

      Type The type of event you're creating.
      Allow double booking with tasks Enables the task to be scheduled at the same time as existing work order tasks.
      Note:

      If double booking isn’t enabled and the event or its travel time conflicts with a scheduled work order task, the agent's task is unassigned.

      Allow double booking with tasks is only available if you have Workforce Optimization configured.

      Allow double booking with tasks isn’t available for the Time Off event type.

      Show as The status displayed for the agent or agents during the event.
      Note:
      Show as is only available if you don't have Workforce Optimization configured.
      Start time The start time for the event.
      End time The end time for the event.
      Repeats How often the non-work order event reoccurs.

      Repeats only available if you don't have Workforce Optimization configured.

      Repeat every The frequency that the non-work order event reoccurs.

      Repeats every only available if you don't have Workforce Optimization configured.

      Repeat until When the recurring non-work order event ends.

      Repeats until only available if you don't have Workforce Optimization configured.

      Location The location that the event takes place in.
      Note:

      Locations on events are only available if you have Workforce Optimization configured. Locations aren’t available for the Time Off event type.

    7. Tap Submit.
