    • View a map that shows stockrooms with available parts relative to your location.

    Before you begin

    Role required: wm_agent

    About this task

    As an agent, you can search parts from your personal stock room, peer stockrooms, and warehouse to complete your work order tasks. The stockroom location information appears in the form of interactive map and cards in the Asset map page.

    Procedure

    1. Open the ServiceNow Agent application.
    2. Tap Inventory.
    3. Search for parts.
      1. Tap Inventory.
      2. Enter a keyword in the search panel.
      3. Tap the Search icon ()
    4. Check part availability.
      1. Tap Inventory.
      2. Tap Check availability.
      3. Tap Model.
      4. Search for and select the part model.
      5. In the Radius field, enter the radius in miles to search the parts within the specified distance.
        Note:
        The system considers your current location the source location and displays the stockrooms within the specified radius.
      6. Optional: View substitutes of the selected part model by selecting Search for substitutes.
      7. Tap Next.
    5. Perform one of the following actions.

      1. Enter a keyword to search parts.
      2. Tap the Search icon ()
      Check part availability with your preference
      1. Tap Inventory.
      2. Tap Check availability.
      3. Tap Model.
      4. Search for and select the part model.
      5. In the Radius field, enter the radius in miles to search the parts within the specified distance.
        Note:
        The system considers your current location as the source location and displays the stockrooms within the specified radius.
      6. (Optional) To view substitutes of the selected part model, select Search for substitutes.
      7. Tap Next.

      Swipe each part record displayed below the map to the left or the right to see the location of the selected part.

    Result

    The stockroom locations' information appear in the form of interactive map and cards in the Asset map screen. You can select the desired stockroom and request inventory.
