Configure activity type templates for the Customer History view

    • Create an activity type template to define how to display the activity type data on each of the activity tiles in the activity feed.

    You can define which fields are displayed, where it is displayed on the tile, and the order of the display.

    Procédure

    1. Navigate to All > Customer Central > Customer History > Guided Setup.
    2. Select Get Started under Activity Feed.
    3. Select Configure beside Activity Type Templates.
    4. Select New.
    5. Fill out the fields, as required.

      Field Description
      Name Enter a name for the template.
      Activity Type Select the activity type to add the template for.
      Icon Select an icon to use for the activity type.
      Icon Background Select a background color from the drop-down, then select the green check mark to apply. If no default colors are set by the admin in UI Builder, gray is applied automatically.
    6. Select Submit.
    7. Once you have created an activity type template, select it from the Activity Type Template list to configure the fields and order of fields to display.
    8. Select New to create template fields for the activity type.
    9. Fill out the fields, as required.

      Field Description
      Type Select a Type to determine whether you want to select fields from the activity source or activity group table.
      Field Select the field you want to add.
      Remarque :
      You cannot configure HTML fields for display in the subheader on the activity tile.
      Show label Select this check box to show the field label on the activity tile.
      Position Select the Position to determine whether the field should appear as content or as a sub-header on the activity tile.
      Remarque :
      Only one field is displayed as content on the activity tile.
      Order Select the order the field should appear on the activity tile.
      Enable link to activity group record Select this check box to display the field as a link to the activity group record.
      Display as time ago

      Select this check box to display the field in time ago format.

      Remarque :
      This field only applies to fields including time or date information.
      Content icon Icon for the content displayed on a tile.
      Remarque :
      This field is only displayed when Content is selected in the Position field.
      Content tooltip Tooltip for the icon displayed on a tile.
      Remarque :
      This field is only displayed when Content is selected in the Position field.
      Condition Condition that applies to the selected field.

      For example, in the transcript activity type template, you can configure a condition to show transcript when the Chat Summary field is empty.
    10. Select Submit.
