Aggregated reports framework
Using aggregated reports framework, you can create reports for the data that involves complex and long-running on-the-fly queries for better performance.
The aggregated reports framework improves the performance by:
- using lesser resources and rendering reports faster,
- aggregating the data and reusing aggregations and breakdowns (Group By) and
- reducing the queries to the database
When you have more than one million vulnerable items, use the aggregated reports framework provided in Vulnerability Response Common alongside the standard reports.
Required roles
The following roles and tasks are associated with this solution:
- ServiceNow AI Platform administrator (admin): Install and activate this Platform Analytics Solution and make any necessary changes to system properties.
- Performance Analytics administrator (pa_admin): Review the aggregations, widgets, and dashboards. Set up and start data collection. Share the dashboards with appropriate stakeholders.
- Admin (sn_vul_cmn.admin): Create aggregations.
- VR write(sn_vul_cmn.write): Edit the data in the Aggregations and Aggregated Results.
- VR read (sn_vul_cmn.read): Review the data in the Aggregations and Aggregated Results.
- Vulnerability analyst (sn_vul.vulnerability_analyst): Review Aggregated Results.
