  • User criteria are available to manage access to the Knowledge knowledge base.

The Knowledge knowledge base is provided as a demo example in the Knowledge Management application. Starting from the Paris release, user criteria were added to the Knowledge knowledge base to enable you to control access for guest (unauthenticated) users:
    • Any User user criteria in Can Read, which enables any user to read articles in the Knowledge knowledge base.

    • Guest User in Cannot Read, which prevents guest or unauthenticated users from reading articles in the Knowledge knowledge base.

    Remarque :
If you are on a release version prior to the Paris release, see Configure access to knowledge bases for unauthenticated users for information about managing access without any user criteria.

Although you can continue to use the Knowledge knowledge base consider creating your own knowledge base to store, share, and manage content. You can configure access to your knowledge bases through user criteria. For more information, see Create a knowledge base.
