The Operations tab within the AI Risk and Compliance workspace offers ServiceNow customers a centralized dashboard to monitor AI systems and related governance activities. It provides a comprehensive view of AI systems by their lifecycle states and key metrics related to assessments, control assurance, issues, policy exceptions, and AI cases. This tab focuses exclusively on Managed AI assets, ensuring data relevancy for effective governance.

Key Features
- AI Systems by State Widget: Visualizes AI systems categorized by lifecycle states such as New, Assess, Build, Review for Deployment, Live and Monitor, and Offboard. This helps customers track the progress and status of AI systems from registration through retirement.
- Assessments Widgets: Display counts of various assessments, including risk and AI-specific assessments, highlighting their statuses such as open, in progress, overdue, or due soon. This enables proactive management of assessment workflows.
- Control Assurance Widgets: Show the number of open and overdue attestations and indicators, including the ability to filter between Smart Assessment and Classic Survey types. This facilitates timely control verification and monitoring of indicator performance.
- Tracking Issues and Policy Exceptions Widgets: Present issue and policy exception counts with statuses and risk or priority breakdowns via pie charts. This supports prioritization and resolution efforts.
- AI Cases Widget: Provides counts and priority distribution of active AI cases, including overdue and upcoming due cases, helping in case management and resolution tracking.

The Operations tab on the AI Risk and Compliance workspace provides an overview of AI systems by state, along with metrics for assessments, control assurance, issues, policy exceptions, and AI cases.
The Operations tab displays the widgets that are listed in the following table. You can drill down into the data on each widget.

| AI assessments | Displays the number of assessments that are in draft, assigned, and work in progress states. It also shows the number of assessments that are open, overdue, and due in 7 days. |
| Control assurance | |
| Attestations | Displays the number of attestations that are open and overdue. Drill-down to view the list of control attestations that are awaiting for response collection. Apply the search filter to view Control Attestations powered by Smart Assessment by selecting New or view Control Attestations powered by Classic Survey by selecting Classic from the drop-down menu. |
