Key Features
- AI Systems by State Widget: Displays counts of AI systems across lifecycle stages such as New, Assess, Build, Review for deployment, Live and Monitor, and Offboard. This helps track AI system progress and governance status.
- Assessments Widgets: Show open, in-progress, overdue, and upcoming risk and AI assessments, enabling proactive governance and timely completion of assessments.
- Control Assurance: Includes attestations tracking open and overdue control attestations with drill-down capabilities. It supports filtering between Smart Assessment and Classic Survey types, facilitating detailed control validation workflows.
- Indicators: Reports on open indicators and those that failed in the last six months, highlighting potential risk signals requiring attention.
- Tracking Issues: Displays open, overdue, and upcoming issues, accompanied by a priority-based pie chart for quick risk prioritization.
- Policy Exceptions: Provides counts and risk-based visualizations of policy exceptions, supporting governance compliance and exception management.
- AI Cases: Tracks active, overdue, and due AI cases with priority visualization, facilitating case management and resolution tracking.
Practical Application for Customers
ServiceNow customers using the AI Risk and Compliance workspace can leverage the Operations tab to gain a centralized, real-time view of their AI asset governance status. The ability to drill down into each widget’s data helps in identifying bottlenecks, overdue tasks, and compliance gaps. Customers with the AI steward role can manage asset status between Managed and Unmanaged, ensuring dashboards accurately reflect assets under governance.
This tab supports compliance teams in prioritizing assessments, control attestations, issue resolution, and policy exception handling, ultimately strengthening AI governance and risk management efforts within their organizations.
The Operations tab on the AI Risk and Compliance workspace provides an overview of AI systems by state, along with metrics for assessments, control assurance, issues, policy exceptions, and AI cases.
The Operations tab displays the widgets that are listed in the following table. You can drill down into the data on each widget.

| Attestations | Displays the number of attestations that are open and overdue. Drill-down to view the list of control attestations that are awaiting for response collection. Apply the search filter to view Control Attestations powered by Smart Assessment by selecting New or view Control Attestations powered by Classic Survey by selecting Classic from the drop-down menu. |
