Upload a file to cloud

  • Upload local documents from your local to Microsoft cloud and manage the access to the cloud files.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_audit_ws.auditor, sn_audit_ws.supervisor

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Audit > Audit Workspace.
    2. Select the tasks icon (Tasks icon).
      The list displays the engagements that are assigned to you.
    3. Create an audit engagement or navigate to an existing engagement record and select the Cloud files tab.
    4. In the Cloud files tab, select Upload file.
    5. In the Upload files to cloud pop-up, browse through your local system and select the file to upload.
    6. Select the Upload button.
      Before selecting the Upload option if you cancel the action, the file would still be selected in the pop-up but not uploaded. Unless you select the Upload button, the file will not be uploaded to cloud.

      File names and folder structures are validated while file upload. Therefore, exercise caution in naming your files. Invalid characters, if present in the file name, cause failure in file upload action.

    7. To remove the invalid character in the file name, select the More actions icon icon and rename the file correctly.
    8. Select the file's URL link attached to the record in the Cloud files tab to navigate to the cloud file in Microsoft.
