Configure an impact rating to assess an impact category

  • Configure a rating for each category to help you measure the intensity of loss when a business downtime occurs.

    About this task

    You can define the impact ratings to assess an impact category as low, moderate, high, or critical.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Business Continuity > General Administration > Impact Ratings.
    2. Click New.
    3. On the form, fill in the fields.
      Table 1. Impact Rating form
      Field Description
      Name Name of the impact rating.
      Value Numerical value for the impact rating.
      Impact Category Category of impact. For example, Workforce impact, Regulatory impact, Revenue impact, and others.
      Impact analysis question This field appears if the impact category of the business disruption contributes to RPO.
      Tolerable Option for enabling the RTO impact as tolerable. This check box appears only if the impact category contributes to RTO.
      Description Short description about the impact rating
    4. Click Submit.
