    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_oper_res.admin

    About this task

If you have the sn_oper_res.admin role, you can create an event in the Operational Resilience application. An event can be something like flooding or a power outage. You can classify the events that are of a similar type under an event group.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Operational Resilience > Admin > Events.
    2. Click New.
    3. In the Name field, enter the name for the event.
    4. In the Description field, enter the description for the event.
    5. In the Event group field, select an event group.

For a description of the field values in the form, see Event New record form.

      Note:
You can add an event to many scenarios, but you can add an event to a scenario only once.
    6. Click Submit.
You can classify an event under an event group as shown in the following example.

As shown in the example, the scenarios for an event can be associated with different pillars.
