Configuring an issue relationship

  • If an issue isn't reusable and you know that multiple similar issues were created for different controls, risk statements, or control objectives, you can still configure the issue relationship to reuse the issue in the GRC application.

    You can avoid duplicating issues by reusing the same issue. All you have to do is add it to different objects. When an issue is linked to a control or risk, it’s automatically linked to the entity, control objective, or risk statement of that control or risk.

    By using the Issue Relationship Configuration tab under the GRC Administration module, you can add an issue to different objects.
    Note:
    This module is visible only if you have the workspaces installed.

    You can also disable an issue relationship by stopping the automatic linking of the related objects to an issue. For more information, see Configure an issue relationship.
